Transition Workshops
These introductory seminars on both campuses put all the changes to policy, procedure, and organization structure into context prior to hands-on training, which begins in July. We strongly suggest that anyone who will be using the new systems attend these workshops.

- Registration is not required.
- New topics are introduced every two weeks and run for two weeks, with 2 sessions available in Chicago and 3 in Evanston for each topic.
- Each workshop will be approximately 1.5 hours long.
- Materials will be available online for those who are unable to attend.
Purpose
Provide end users (central, units, University community) targeted information about changes to:
- Policy
- Procedures
- Culture
- Organization structure
Recommendations and impact information will be included with each topic.
Dates

Evanston workshops will be held at Norris University Center.
Chicago workshops will be held either in Baldwin Auditorium or Hughes Auditorium, both of which are located in The Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center, 303 E. Superior.
COA crosswalk drop-in labs will be held in the Project Café Classrooms.
Process
- Create: Project Café team members and business owners gather information and create materials
- Review: A pilot/focus group of unit representatives review the materials in order to provide feedback, additional impacts, and recommendations for supporting units through the change
- Update: Project Café team members and business owners update the materials based on feedback
- Deliver: Project Café team members and business owners deliver workshop to appropriate audience(s)
Outcome
Central and school end users will have:
- an understanding of the changes/impacts to their areas regarding each topic
- a list of recommendations for how to update their:
- internal policies
- procedures
- communication vehicles
- organization structure
