CAT101: Navigation Essentials

This is a hands-on instructor-led training session in a computer lab designed for all users of CATracks.

It is a required pre-requisite class to all other CATracks classes.

This class will introduce the CATracks navigation elements and data structure for biographic, giving and prospect management information. You will learn how to enter Contact Reports, use Clipboards, run reports and much more in the new application.

Audience: any user of CATracks application.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Students will learn about:

- CATracks menus, icons, toolbar, shortcut keys

- Basic Look ups in CATracks

- Menu structure for finding data in biographic, giving and prospect management

- Clipboards

- Viewing and maintaining affiliation data: Record types and status, affiliations, activities, student activities and degrees

- Contact report and Entity notes

- Run reports and a report inventory

- Help Options
