InfoEd Proposal Tracking and SPIN are Live
Northwestern University and Project Café announce the launch of the first two modules of InfoEd, Northwestern's new software system for managing sponsored research. Proposal Tracking and SPIN are now available for use.
What Proposal Tracking means for...
Central Administration (OSR and ASRSP)
- Proposal Tracking (PT) will replace NUORISN. It will primarily be used by staff in OSR and ASRSP as their system of record for tracking proposals, awards, subcontracts, and contract negotiations
- PT will include records converted from NUORISN for current proposals and active awards
Departments and Schools
- Monthly proposal and award reports will continue, with data now coming from InfoEd
- Schools/deans’ offices that currently receive data from NUORISN will now get their data from InfoEd PT
What SPIN means for departments, faculty, and staff...
- SPIN (Sponsored Programs Information Network), InfoEd’s funding opportunity database, is now available for faculty and staff to search for funding opportunities.
- SPIN is easy to use and supplements our other funding opportunity databases, Community of Science (COS), and the Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS).
